Raymond Lee was born on the 23 September 1922 at Elizabeth Street, Thornaby-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. His parents were James Lee and Mary Ann Porteous. In 1942 Raymond joined the 51st(15th Bn. Highland Light Infantry) Regiment, Reconnaissance Corps as Trooper 10602107 and died on Friday, 23 October 1942, aged 20 years old.
